Join us to connect with other women and teen girls in an environment that encourages authentic community connections and opportunities to engage in discussions around personal awareness and safety. With Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, the focus is on setting boundaries and learning how a smaller person can effectively thwart an attack from a bigger, stronger opponent using leverage, technique, and timing rather than strength, speed, and athleticism. Although the topic is serious, we provide a fun and collaborative experience to learn together.
This program is for women of all ages and fitness levels. (Ages 12+) We can make accommodations for injuries or other limitations. If you’re unsure, please come observe a class. Friends welcome! Join at any time; no previous experience necessary for any class. We meet twice a month on Saturday mornings.
